Interakt Alternatives 2026: 7 Whitelabel WhatsApp CRMs Indian D2C Agencies Are Choosing

If you're searching "Interakt alternatives" in 2026, you're almost never just looking for a cheaper Cloud API dashboard. You're searching for one of three structural fixes — and which one decides which alternative actually fits your business model.

TL;DR — what the Interakt alternatives search actually means in 2026

If you’re searching “Interakt alternatives” in 2026, you’re almost never just looking for a cheaper Cloud API dashboard. You’re searching for one of three structural fixes — and which one decides which alternative actually fits your business model.

I’m Rakshit, co-founder of Lion CRM (a [LotsOfCode Private Limited](https://lotsofcode.in) product). For four years I’ve watched Indian D2C founders and agency owners shop the WhatsApp-CRM market end to end. The Interakt exit follows a predictable pattern. Three reasons people leave: the Shopify-first feature set stops mattering once you outgrow ecommerce, the per-conversation Meta cost still hurts agency margin even with INR billing, and the whitelabel program is limited to dashboard-logo changes which most resellers find too thin. Pick the alternative that fixes *your* version of those three.

| If you came here because… | The alternative that fits |
|—|—|
| “I want to whitelabel and resell to my own customers” | **Lion CRM** (full whitelabel from $150) or **BotSailor** (chatbot-focused whitelabel) |
| “Interakt’s per-conversation cost is eating my D2C margin” | **Lion CRM** (no Meta charge) or **WANotifier** (zero-markup BSP) |
| “I need cheaper India-focused Cloud API with more flexibility” | **AiSensy**, **Gallabox** |
| “I need an international Cloud API with deeper CRM integrations” | **Wati** |
| “I need a sales-team inbox without Cloud API friction” | **DoubleTick**, **Lion CRM** |
| “I need fast launch, no Meta approval, full rebrand from Day 1” | **Lion CRM** (7 days, full rebrand) |

Most “Interakt alternatives” listicles read like vendor directories — eleven names, identical screenshots, no opinion. This one has an opinion. I run a WhatsApp-CRM company that competes in this market. I’ll tell you which architecture to pick, why, and where my own product is the wrong answer. Read the verdict at the bottom for the short form, or work through the deep-dives for the why.

Why agencies and D2C brands leave Interakt in 2026

Interakt is a fine product. It has been a strong India-focused Cloud API since 2019, the Haptik AI layer adds real automation, and the Reliance Jio acquisition gives it enterprise weight most BSPs lack. The “alternatives” search is not about Interakt being broken. It is about specific buyers realising Interakt was not built for *their* business model.

Here are the five exits I see most often in 2025 and 2026, roughly ordered by how loud they show up in D2C founder DMs and agency owner WhatsApp groups.

**Exit 1 — Interakt’s whitelabel stops at the dashboard logo.** Agency owners discover this in week two. They want to sell WhatsApp-CRM to their own customers under their own brand. Interakt offers logo customisation inside the customer dashboard, but the Interakt brand surfaces in every invoice, every support email, every onboarding doc, every template-approval notification. Their customers Google “Interakt” and find a third-party SaaS, not the agency’s own platform. The trust that single-vendor branding buys is gone.

**Exit 2 — Per-conversation Meta cost erodes D2C margin.** Interakt’s plans show Starter at ₹2,499 (₹2,949 incl GST) or roughly $30 a month. What is missing is the Meta per-conversation rate — about ₹0.42 to ₹0.88 per marketing-template send depending on category. For a D2C brand sending 50,000 cart-abandonment messages a month, that is ₹21,000 to ₹44,000 in Meta fees on top of the platform price. The platform fee is fixed; the variable cost is what surprises new buyers.

**Exit 3 — Cloud API approval window kills the “launch this week” promise.** Cloud API requires a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), a Meta-verified business profile, and a Tech Provider partnership. Even on Interakt’s smoothest path the timeline is 2 to 4 weeks per customer; the realistic average is closer to 5 weeks once template approval rounds are factored in. Agency owners who promised “I’ll have you live next week” end up explaining template categories to confused buyers a month later.

**Exit 4 — Ecommerce-first feature set narrows as customer base diversifies.** Interakt’s value proposition shines for Shopify D2C — cart abandonment, COD confirmation, order updates, return automation. Once an agency tries to serve real estate, coaching, B2B services, or kirana stores, that ecommerce-flavoured feature set adds friction rather than value. The contact taxonomy, the template library, the integration list all skew Shopify; the non-ecommerce buyer hits dead ends.

**Exit 5 — Post-acquisition product velocity slowed.** Reliance Jio acquired Haptik (Interakt’s parent) in 2019 and again invested heavily through 2023. Acquisitions of this scale tend to slow standalone-product release cadence. Customers who joined Interakt for the founder-led iteration speed report longer time-to-resolution on feature requests in 2025 and 2026. The roadmap is enterprise-shaped; SMB agency feature asks sit in a long queue.

If two or more of those five describe why you’re shopping, you do not need a different Cloud API BSP. You need a different *architecture* — one that ships whitelabel and avoids per-conversation cost out of the box. That is the real subtext of this entire post.

The 7 alternatives at a glance

Quick comparison table before the deep-dives. Numbers below are best-effort 2026 figures from each vendor’s public pricing page; verify before you commit.

| Vendor | Architecture | Whitelabel? | Per-conversation cost | Starting plan | Best for |
|—|—|—|—|—|—|
| **Lion CRM** | Chrome extension | Yes — full ($150 one-time) | ₹0 | $150 one-time + $2.50/user/mo | Indian agencies; SMB end-customer base |
| **AiSensy** | Cloud API (BSP) | Limited (logo-only) | Meta + ~25% markup | ₹2,399/mo (Pro) | High-volume marketing template senders |
| **Wati** | Cloud API (BSP) | Custom contract only | Meta + ~20% markup | $39/mo (Standard) | International CRM integrations |
| **DoubleTick** | Chrome ext + light API | No | Meta (sometimes) + small markup | ₹3,000/user/mo | Single-team sales reps |
| **Gallabox** | Cloud API (BSP) | No | Meta + ~20% markup | ₹1,999/mo | Multi-agent inbox use cases |
| **WANotifier** | Cloud API (BSP) | No | Meta + 0% markup | $19/mo | Cost-conscious broadcast users |
| **BotSailor** | Chatbot-first BSP | Yes (chatbot whitelabel) | Meta + variable | $33/mo (Pro) | Multi-channel chatbot resellers |

Three observations before we go deeper. First, only two products on this list — Lion CRM and BotSailor — sell a real whitelabel reseller program at a published price. Interakt’s whitelabel stops at the dashboard logo. Second, only Lion CRM avoids per-conversation Meta charges in its default architecture; everything else inherits Meta’s marketing-template rate plus the BSP markup. Third, the “starting plan” column is misleading because Cloud API plans never include the per-conversation cost. Add ₹2,000 to ₹15,000 a month per customer for realistic Cloud API totals at typical D2C volumes.

1. Lion CRM — the Chrome-extension whitelabel

I am obviously biased here, so I will be specific about *when Lion CRM is wrong for you* in the next paragraph. The case for it: Lion CRM is a Chrome extension that turns WhatsApp Web into a CRM (Kanban pipeline, bulk messaging with safe-send delays, quick replies, AI integrations, Backup-Restore). Each end customer signs into their own WhatsApp Web. There is no Meta API in the wire — no Tech Provider approval, no WABA, no per-conversation marketing-template charge. The whitelabel program lets agencies download a fully rebranded `.crx` build with their logo, brand name, support number, and primary colour. From the end customer’s perspective the product is *YourBrand*, not Lion CRM.

**When Lion CRM is the right choice:**

– You are an Indian SMB-focused agency with 5 to 50 broker-style customers per tenant
– Your customers want to send from their existing WhatsApp number, not register a WABA
– Your business model needs predictable wholesale costs (no per-message variable cost surprise)
– You want to control the entire customer experience under your brand from Day 1
– You can hit 30 active licenses across a 3-month grace period (Lion CRM’s compliance minimum)

**When Lion CRM is the wrong choice:**

– You sell to enterprises that explicitly require Meta-verified blue-tick template messaging at 100k-plus per month volumes
– You need centralised dashboard visibility into every customer’s conversation log (Chrome-ext stores data on each user’s laptop)
– You sell into US or EU markets where Cloud API features (template approval, button payloads, list messages) are explicit RFP requirements
– Your customers are banks or BFSI doing OTP delivery — that is a Cloud API job, not a Chrome-ext job

**Pricing (USD, one-time setup plus per-license-per-month):**

| Plan | Setup | Per-user/month | Best for |
|—|—|—|—|
| Starter | $150 one-time | $2.50/user/mo | 5-15 active brokers in first 90 days |
| Growth | $200 one-time | $2.00/user/mo | 15-50 active brokers |
| Enterprise | $250 one-time | $1.00/user/mo | 50-plus brokers, established pipeline |

**The whitelabel depth.** Logo, brand name, primary and accent colour, support number, support URL, and 9 languages baked in (English, Portuguese, Spanish, Hindi, German, French, Italian, Dutch, and a few more being added). Agencies sign customers up on `admin.lioncrm.com/public/login.php` (their reseller dashboard, not the customer-facing one), buy a plan via PayPal, top up the wallet, and start issuing licenses. The full launch playbook is in our [Launch Your Own WhatsApp CRM SaaS in 7 Days](https://lioncrm.site/launch-your-own-whatsapp-crm-saas-7-days/) post if you want the day-by-day execution view.

**The bottom-line difference vs Interakt.** Interakt Starter at ₹2,499 a month per tenant plus Meta per-conversation cost. For an agency reseller running 10 D2C customers at 50,000 conversations each per month, the realistic total is ₹24,990 in platform fees plus ₹210,000 to ₹440,000 in Meta charges = ₹234,000 to ₹465,000 per month wholesale. Lion CRM at Growth tier is $2 per user per month (about ₹170 per user) wholesale with no per-conversation cost ever. Your retail to the end customer is whatever your local market supports — typical Indian D2C retail is ₹2,499 per seat per month. Wholesale ~₹170, retail ₹2,499, gross margin north of 90 percent. The architecture difference structurally protects margin in a way Interakt’s Cloud API model can never match for the SMB-broker segment.

2. AiSensy — India’s most-funded Cloud API BSP

AiSensy is the Cloud API alternative most often picked by Interakt exits whose only complaint is price. Same Cloud API architecture, same template-approval friction, but consistently 10 to 20 percent cheaper on the platform fee and more flexible on the marketing-template categories. If your exit from Interakt is purely about INR cost per send, AiSensy is the most obvious lateral move.

**When AiSensy is right:**

– Your end customers send 10,000-plus marketing-template messages a month and care about deliverability
– You need WhatsApp Flows, Interactive buttons, and template approval workflows
– You want INR billing and India-business-hours support
– Your customer-acquisition motion can absorb the 4 to 8-week WABA approval window

**When AiSensy is wrong:**

– You need real whitelabel — AiSensy’s whitelabel is logo-only, like Interakt’s
– Your customers are Tier-2 SMBs sending 500-2,000 messages a month — Cloud API per-conversation cost overwhelms the value
– You need fast time-to-launch (Day 7 onboarding is impossible with Cloud API)

**AiSensy pricing in 2026:** Pro at ₹2,399 a month, Pro+ at ₹3,199 a month, Enterprise custom. All plans add Meta’s per-conversation marketing-template rate (~₹0.42-0.88 per send depending on category) plus AiSensy’s ~25 percent markup. We covered the AiSensy migration playbook in detail in our [AiSensy Alternatives 2026](https://lioncrm.site/aisensy-alternatives-whitelabel-whatsapp-crm/) deep-dive — read that piece first if your exit is heading toward AiSensy.

The honest read: AiSensy is a better-priced Cloud API product than Interakt for the high-volume marketing use case. AiSensy is roughly the same on whitelabel limitations. If your Interakt exit is driven by INR pricing only, AiSensy fits. If it is driven by whitelabel or per-conversation cost, AiSensy is a sideways move.

3. Wati — the international Cloud API veteran

Wati is the Cloud API option for buyers who want deeper international CRM integrations than Interakt offers. Wati ships native HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, Pipedrive, and 40-plus other connectors out of the box. For an Indian D2C brand running HubSpot or a global brand running Salesforce, Wati’s integration breadth beats Interakt’s narrower ecommerce-first list.

**When Wati is right:**

– Your CRM stack is HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or Pipedrive and you want native deep integration
– You sell into international markets that recognise Wati as the regional BSP standard
– You can afford the dollar-priced plans ($39 Standard or $99 Pro per month per tenant)

**When Wati is wrong:**

– You need true whitelabel — Wati’s whitelabel is custom-contract only and out of reach for most agencies
– Your customers are India-only and the dollar pricing creates exchange-rate volatility
– You need real-time INR billing and IST support (Wati’s main support hub is Hong Kong)

**Wati pricing in 2026:** Standard at $39 a month, Pro at $99 a month, Business custom. All plans add Meta’s per-conversation cost on top. For most Indian agencies the Wati platform fee plus Meta charges runs ₹15,000-25,000 a month per customer at typical broker volumes. Our full Wati teardown is on [Wati Alternatives 2026](https://lioncrm.site/wati-alternatives-whitelabel-whatsapp-crm/) if you want the side-by-side. The honest read: if you have already outgrown Interakt’s integration breadth, Wati is the upgrade path. If you have outgrown Interakt’s whitelabel limit, Wati does not solve that problem either.

4. DoubleTick — sales-team inbox with light API

DoubleTick is the alternative most often picked by Interakt exits who decide they do not actually need full Cloud API. They need a sales-team inbox with bulk-sending and Kanban. DoubleTick targets the 5 to 15-person outbound sales team running its own pipeline. It is the simpler architecture and the lower friction launch.

**When DoubleTick is right:**

– You are a direct sales team, not a marketing operation, and you do not send 50k-plus marketing templates monthly
– You want a simpler product than Interakt without losing CRM features
– You can pay per-user pricing for a team you control directly (not a reseller setup)

**When DoubleTick is wrong:**

– You are an agency wanting to resell — DoubleTick has no whitelabel program at all
– You need multi-tenant isolation across multiple customer organisations
– Your customer base is Tier-2 or Tier-3 SMBs that find DoubleTick’s UI complex

**DoubleTick pricing in 2026:** Starts around ₹3,000 per user per month with no published whitelabel tier. We did the full DoubleTick comparison in our [DoubleTick Alternatives 2026](https://lioncrm.site/doubletick-alternatives-whitelabel-whatsapp-crm/) post — read that one if you are choosing between DoubleTick and the Chrome-ext alternatives.

The honest read: DoubleTick is a fine simpler-than-Interakt option for direct teams. It is the wrong fit if you came to “Interakt alternatives” looking for whitelabel reseller economics.

Building your own WhatsApp-CRM SaaS instead of buying a per-user license? Lion CRM’s whitelabel reseller program ships you a fully-branded Chrome extension, admin dashboard, and license-pool wallet — no Meta approval needed. 5. Gallabox — team inbox plus chatbot

Gallabox is a Cloud API BSP positioned around the team-inbox-plus-chatbot use case. It is a popular pick for Indian SMBs that want shared agent assignment, an automated chatbot first-response, and broadcast in a single platform — without Interakt’s ecommerce-specific feature density.

**When Gallabox is right:**

– You need 5 to 25 agent seats sharing a single customer inbox
– You want a no-code chatbot for first-response triage before handing to a human
– You do not need ecommerce-specific automation (Gallabox is simpler than Interakt on that axis)

**When Gallabox is wrong:**

– You want to whitelabel — Gallabox has no real reseller program
– You need ecommerce-specific automations (Gallabox is generic, Interakt is Shopify-shaped)
– You are at single-agent volume — the per-seat pricing does not make sense

**Gallabox pricing in 2026:** Starter at ₹1,999 a month for 3 users, Growth at ₹3,499 a month for 6 users, Pro at ₹5,999 a month for 15 users. Add Meta per-conversation on top. Wholesale-only for the agency-reseller use case — they do not ship a rebrandable build.

6. WANotifier — zero-markup Cloud API

WANotifier is the Interakt alternative for buyers whose only complaint is “I am paying a markup on top of Meta’s per-conversation cost”. WANotifier is a Cloud API BSP that bills at Meta’s exact rate with no platform markup — they make money on the monthly software subscription, not on per-message margin. For a high-volume sender that is a meaningful difference.

**When WANotifier is right:**

– You send high volumes (10k-plus marketing templates a month) and the Interakt or Wati markup compounds painfully
– You can self-serve template design and do not need a managed-services layer
– You want predictable monthly software cost plus true Meta wholesale rate

**When WANotifier is wrong:**

– You want whitelabel — WANotifier is single-brand
– You need ecommerce-specific automations (it is broadcast-focused, not D2C-shaped)
– Your customers are agency-resold — WANotifier does not ship a multi-tenant reseller layer

**WANotifier pricing in 2026:** Starter at $19 a month for 1,000 contacts, Pro at $39 a month for 10,000, Business at $79 a month for unlimited. Plus Meta per-conversation at exact Meta rate. For a single high-volume direct customer this beats Interakt on total cost. For an agency reseller, the lack of whitelabel and multi-tenant breaks the model.

7. BotSailor and the multi-channel chatbot BSPs

The seventh slot goes to BotSailor — and by extension to the broader category of multi-channel BSPs (BotSailor, Manychat, ChatBot, others). These are chatbot-first platforms that handle WhatsApp as one channel among many (Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, web chat). BotSailor specifically ships a whitelabel reseller package, which makes it the closest competitor to Lion CRM’s reseller program — but the architecture is chatbot-led, not CRM-led.

**When BotSailor is right:**

– Your customers want chatbot automation across WhatsApp plus Messenger plus Instagram plus Telegram, not just WhatsApp
– You want to resell a chatbot platform under your brand, not build your own
– Your customers are e-commerce or service businesses that prioritise automation over CRM workflows

**When BotSailor is wrong:**

– Your customers want a CRM-style Kanban pipeline plus manual broadcast, not chatbot flows
– You sell to Indian SMBs whose primary channel is just WhatsApp
– You need on-WhatsApp-Web architecture (BotSailor is chatbot-on-Cloud-API, similar friction to Interakt)

**BotSailor pricing in 2026:** Pro at $33 a month, Premium at $49 a month, Whitelabel reseller from $499 a month plus per-customer fees. Meta per-conversation cost on top. The whitelabel pricing puts BotSailor in a different bracket from Lion CRM ($150-$250 one-time plus per-user) — BotSailor is a higher-floor, higher-feature reseller play; Lion CRM is a lower-floor, lower-friction reseller play.

Whitelabel depth — the only table most agency buyers need

If you came to this post via the “Interakt alternatives” search and your real intent is “I want to resell WhatsApp-CRM under my own brand”, this is the table that matters. Everything else above is context.

| Vendor | Logo on dashboard | Brand name everywhere | Custom domain | Custom support email | Custom mobile build | Multi-tenant license pool | Public reseller pricing |
|—|—|—|—|—|—|—|—|
| **Lion CRM** | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes (Chrome ext .crx) | Yes | Yes ($150-$250 one-time) |
| **Interakt** | Limited | No | No | No | No | No | No |
| **AiSensy** | Yes | No | No | No | No | No | No |
| **Wati** | Custom plan | No | Custom plan | Custom plan | No | No | No (custom contract) |
| **DoubleTick** | No | No | No | No | No | No | No |
| **Gallabox** | No | No | No | No | No | No | No |
| **WANotifier** | No | No | No | No | No | No | No |
| **BotSailor** | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Mobile app addon | Yes | Yes ($499/mo+) |

Two products on this list ship a real, end-to-end, publicly-priced whitelabel reseller program: Lion CRM and BotSailor. Interakt’s whitelabel stops at the dashboard logo. The other five offer dashboard logo customisation or nothing at all. If whitelabel is the reason you are shopping, this table is the entire decision.

Indian rupee pricing math, side-by-side

Let’s run the math an Indian D2C-focused agency owner actually cares about. Scenario: 10 customer brands, each running a Shopify storefront with about 5,000 customers and pushing 50,000 marketing-template WhatsApp messages a month (cart abandonment, COD confirmation, order updates, promotional broadcasts). Total: 500,000 messages a month across 10 tenants.

| Vendor | Wholesale plan cost (₹) | Meta per-conv cost (₹) | Total wholesale/mo (₹) | Per-tenant wholesale (₹) | Typical retail (₹/tenant/mo) | Gross margin |
|—|—|—|—|—|—|—|
| **Lion CRM Growth** | $200 one-time + $2/user × 50 = ~$100/mo (~₹8,300) | ₹0 | ~₹8,300 | ₹830 | ₹9,999 | ~92% |
| **Interakt Starter** | ₹2,499 × 10 = ₹24,990 | 500k × ~₹0.55 = ₹275,000 | ~₹299,990 | ₹29,999 | ₹9,999 | NEGATIVE |
| **Interakt Growth** | ₹3,499 × 10 = ₹34,990 | 500k × ~₹0.55 = ₹275,000 | ~₹309,990 | ₹30,999 | ₹9,999 | NEGATIVE |
| **AiSensy Pro** | ₹2,399 × 10 = ₹23,990 | 500k × ~₹0.55 = ₹275,000 | ~₹298,990 | ₹29,899 | ₹9,999 | NEGATIVE |
| **Wati Pro** | $99 × 10 = $990 (~₹82,000) | 500k × ~₹0.65 = ₹325,000 | ~₹407,000 | ₹40,700 | ₹9,999 | NEGATIVE |
| **DoubleTick** | ₹3,000 × 50 = ₹150,000 | n/a | ~₹150,000 | ₹15,000 | ₹9,999 | NEGATIVE |
| **Gallabox Pro** | ₹5,999 × 10 = ₹59,990 | 500k × ~₹0.60 = ₹300,000 | ~₹359,990 | ₹35,999 | ₹9,999 | NEGATIVE |
| **BotSailor Whitelabel** | $499/mo (~₹41,500) + per-cust fees | 500k × ~₹0.65 = ₹325,000 | ~₹366,500 | ₹36,650 | ₹9,999 | NEGATIVE |

The math is uncomfortable but real. At typical Indian D2C retail of ₹9,999 per tenant per month for an agency-managed WhatsApp channel, every Cloud API option on this list runs at *negative* gross margin once you include Meta’s per-conversation charge at 50,000 messages a month. Only Lion CRM’s no-Meta-API architecture stays profitable — and stays profitable by a wide margin. This is the structural reason Indian agency owners keep returning to Chrome-extension architectures despite the “fewer features” trade-off. Features matter only if you can stay in business long enough to ship them.

A note on the retail floor: ₹9,999 is the realistic per-tenant retail for a small-to-mid D2C brand in India. If your D2C customers are at the ₹50,000+ per month tier where Cloud API features (Flows, buttons, lists) actually justify the spend, the math flips and Interakt or AiSensy become workable. The number that decides everything is the customer’s retail price tolerance.

Migration playbook — leaving Interakt without breaking Shopify flows

Migrating off Interakt is harder than migrating off Wati or DoubleTick, because Interakt’s Shopify integration owns the cart-abandonment and order-update flows. Here is the order I tell D2C agency owners to follow.

**Step 1 — Inventory the Shopify-side flows that Interakt is currently driving.** Before you touch anything, list every Interakt-driven automation. Typical D2C list: cart abandonment after 1 hour, COD confirmation, order shipped, order delivered, return-request acknowledgement, post-purchase review request. Document the trigger event, the template name, and the message copy. You will need to recreate or replace each one.

**Step 2 — Decide whether your new platform inherits the WABA or starts fresh.** This is the key decision. If you migrate to AiSensy, Wati, Gallabox, or WANotifier — all Cloud API BSPs — you can typically transfer the WABA across BSPs with Meta’s “Migrate WhatsApp Business Account” flow. If you migrate to Lion CRM or DoubleTick (no Cloud API), the WABA becomes irrelevant. You start from the customer’s WhatsApp Web session. The latter is faster but requires retraining customers off template messaging.

**Step 3 — Export contacts and conversation history from Interakt.** Interakt’s contact export lives in Settings → Data → Export Contacts. Conversation history export is a separate panel and may be capped at the last 90 days depending on your plan. Take both exports as CSV; keep the conversation export for compliance and customer-support continuity.

**Step 4 — Recreate Shopify-driven flows on the new platform.** This is where most migrations stall. If you move to AiSensy or Wati you can use their Shopify integration or webhook-to-template paths to recreate Interakt’s automations — expect 1 to 3 days of work per customer brand. If you move to Lion CRM (no Cloud API), the Shopify automations have to be re-architected. The pragmatic pattern is: keep Cloud API for the cart-abandonment-style automations on a single shared Interakt or AiSensy tenant, and use Lion CRM for the customer-service and broker-style outbound on the agency-reseller side. We have seen this two-tier setup work at agencies that need both.

**Step 5 — Run dual-platform for 14-21 days.** Do not shut Interakt down on Day 1. Run both in parallel: new customer broadcasts on the new platform, Shopify-driven automation continues on Interakt until your replacements are fully validated. This avoids the “cart abandonment stopped firing” panic that ends most failed migrations.

**Step 6 — Update billing and support docs for end customers.** If you are an agency, your D2C customers do not care which BSP you use — they care that their Shopify integrations keep working. Update the support email signature, the invoice template, and the onboarding doc. Old customers do not need a migration notice unless something visibly changes for them.

**Step 7 — Cancel Interakt on Day 30 to Day 45.** Keep the Interakt account active for at least 30 days, longer if you have running annual templates that need re-approval on the new BSP. Cancel only when you have confirmed every Shopify automation is firing on the new platform and the conversation history is preserved.

For Lion CRM-specific migration support, our team handles the contact import and license-pool setup as part of the standard onboarding. Most D2C agency migrations complete in 10 to 15 business days for an agency with under 10 brand customers.

Pricing comparison vs Interakt Starter: Interakt Starter at ₹2,499 per month (₹2,949 incl GST) plus roughly ₹21,000 to ₹44,000 in Meta per-conv charges at typical D2C volume = ₹23,000 to ₹47,000 per month per tenant wholesale. Lion CRM Starter at ₹99 per month per user (₹116.82 incl GST), 6-month plan, or ₹2,360 per year direct end-customer pricing. For agencies, the Whitelabel Starter is $150 one-time setup plus $2.50 per user per month wholesale.

Start your whitelabel WhatsApp CRM SaaS

If your real intent behind the “Interakt alternatives” search is “I want to start my own WhatsApp-CRM business under my own brand”, Lion CRM’s whitelabel reseller program is purpose-built for that. The plan tiers map to the size of your reseller business.

Whitelabel reseller plans:

  • Starter — $150 one-time setup plus $2.50 per user per month. Best if you have 5-15 brokers in your first 90 days.

Five mistakes buyers make when replacing Interakt

I have watched enough Interakt-exit migrations go sideways to spot the same five mistakes repeatedly. If you avoid these, your migration probably succeeds.

**Mistake 1 — Picking the cheaper Cloud API BSP without redoing the per-conversation math.** Buyers leave Interakt because the platform price is too high, switch to AiSensy at ₹2,399 a month, and discover six weeks later that Meta’s per-conversation cost is identical. You saved ₹100 a month on the platform fee and lost nothing on the variable cost. The variable cost was the problem.

**Mistake 2 — Assuming the new platform’s “whitelabel” matches your expectation.** Most BSPs call themselves whitelabel. Read the actual deliverable: rebranded mobile or browser-extension build, custom domain, custom support email, multi-tenant license pool. Logo on a dashboard is not whitelabel. Lion CRM and BotSailor are the only two on this list that ship the full set.

**Mistake 3 — Not running dual-platform during migration.** Cutting Interakt on Day 1 of the new platform breaks 30 to 40 percent of in-flight customer flows, especially Shopify automation. Run both for 14 to 21 days. The dual-platform cost is cheap insurance against losing a customer’s cart-abandonment revenue.

**Mistake 4 — Underestimating Cloud API approval time when committing to a customer.** “We’ll have you live next week” is the death sentence on any Cloud API migration. WABA approval is 2 to 6 weeks. Template approval adds 24 to 72 hours per template. If your customer-acquisition motion needs Day-7 launch, choose a Chrome-extension architecture (Lion CRM, DoubleTick).

**Mistake 5 — Picking on features instead of architecture.** Interakt has more ecommerce features than Lion CRM. Wati has more CRM integrations than Interakt. AiSensy has more marketing-template features than Wati. None of these matter if the architecture does not fit your business model. Agency-reseller economics live or die on architecture, not feature count.

Frequently asked questions

**Is Interakt actually that expensive in India?**

Interakt’s Starter tier at ₹2,499 a month (₹2,949 incl GST) per tenant is competitive with AiSensy Pro (₹2,399 a month). The platform fee is not the problem; the Meta per-conversation charge is. At 50,000 marketing-template sends a month per tenant, you add ₹21,000 to ₹44,000 in Meta fees on top of the platform fee. The honest answer: Interakt is appropriately priced for direct D2C brands and overpriced for agency resellers running 10-plus tenants on top of it.

**What’s the closest one-to-one Interakt replacement on features?**

Interakt’s three differentiators are Shopify-native automations, Haptik AI layer, and Indian-business-hours support. The closest one-to-one feature parity in 2026 is AiSensy Pro+ (similar template flows, similar Indian support, weaker Shopify-native automations but better marketing-template breadth). For Indian buyers it is roughly the same wholesale cost with broader marketing capability.

**Can I migrate my WABA from Interakt to another BSP?**

Yes. Meta’s “Migrate WhatsApp Business Account” flow lets you transfer the WABA across Tech Providers or BSPs. Both Interakt and the destination BSP must support the migration request. Plan for 24 to 72 hours of WABA in a transitional state — schedule migrations during a low-broadcast window to avoid in-flight failures.

**Does Lion CRM work without Meta approval?**

Yes. Lion CRM is a Chrome extension that runs on top of your existing WhatsApp Web session. There is no Cloud API, no WABA, no Tech Provider approval. The extension is in the Chrome Web Store and installs in under 60 seconds. This is the architectural difference that lets agency resellers launch in 7 days instead of 6 weeks.

**Is there a Lion CRM whitelabel demo I can see?**

Our Demo dashboard at `admin.lioncrm.com/public/demo.php` shows the rebranded customer-facing experience, the agency reseller console, and the license-pool wallet. WhatsApp +91 74260 34448 (Kuldeep) for a guided walkthrough — usually 20 minutes.

**What if my customers genuinely need Shopify-native cart-abandonment flows?**

Lion CRM does not replace Cloud API for Shopify-native automations triggered by Shopify webhooks. Many agencies run a two-tier setup: Cloud API (AiSensy or Interakt) for the Shopify-driven automation events, Lion CRM for the human-driven broker outbound and CRM workflow. The two-tier model gets you Lion CRM’s whitelabel and margin on the human side without losing Shopify’s automation depth.

**How does Lion CRM handle compliance with WhatsApp’s Terms of Service?**

Lion CRM enforces safe-send delays, contact-list segmentation, and broadcast rate limits to stay inside WhatsApp’s anti-spam thresholds. We have published a deep-dive at [Bulk WhatsApp Messages Without Getting Banned](https://lioncrm.site/bulk-whatsapp-messages-without-getting-banned/) — read that before scaling broadcasts on any Chrome-extension platform.

**What’s the 30-license compliance minimum for Lion CRM resellers?**

Lion CRM’s whitelabel program requires resellers to maintain at least 30 active licenses across a 3-month grace period. The reasoning is partly economic (the wholesale rate only works at scale) and partly compliance (we monitor reseller usage patterns to keep all customers safe from spam complaints). Most agency resellers cross 30 licenses in their first 60 days.

The honest verdict

If you skipped to the verdict, here is the short version. Three buyer profiles, three answers.

**Buyer 1 — “I’m an Indian agency wanting to resell WhatsApp-CRM under my own brand.”** Lion CRM is the right answer. The whitelabel program is the only one on this list with public pricing under $500 setup, and the Chrome-extension architecture avoids Meta’s per-conversation cost entirely. Wholesale roughly ₹170 per broker per month, retail ₹2,499 per broker per month, 90-plus percent margin. WhatsApp +91 74260 34448 or sign up at admin.lioncrm.com.

**Buyer 2 — “I’m a Shopify D2C brand wanting WhatsApp as a connected channel for cart abandonment and order updates.”** Interakt actually fits here, or AiSensy Pro+ for broader template breadth. The Shopify-native automations matter more than the per-conversation cost for direct D2C operations at this stage.

**Buyer 3 — “I’m an agency serving multiple D2C brands and need both Shopify-native automation AND whitelabel margin.”** Run the two-tier setup. Use Interakt or AiSensy for the Shopify-webhook-driven flows on the customer’s WABA, and use Lion CRM for the agency-side broker outbound, CRM Kanban, and customer-service inbox. You get Shopify automation depth on the BSP layer and 90-plus percent margin on the Lion CRM layer.

The unifying lesson: the right alternative to Interakt depends on which of its three structural limitations is hurting you — whitelabel depth, per-conversation cost, or fit beyond ecommerce. Pick on architecture, not features. Architecture is what survives the next year of growth.
